Evalute Process and Final Product

Self Evaluation

The better you become at evaluating how you have done a task, the better you will be able to set goals for yourself so that you will do even better next time. Your research journal helps you to reflect, self-evaluate and set goals as you go through the research process, but it is also a good idea to reflect at the finish of a project and set goals for improving for the next information question or problem you choose to answer or solve. The following self evaluation and goal setting form should help.

Collaboration

If you worked in a small group for your research project, it is also important to take some time to think about how you worked in a group.

  • Did all group members contribute equally?
  • How would you describe the communication of you and your group members?
  • How did you handle any challenges in your group's interaction?
